French Wedding in Le Manoir Du Bout Du Pont
Le Manoir Du Bout Du Pont wedding venue is a cosy manor house nestled in the beautiful countryside of the Dropt river valley. It’s on the border of the Dordogne and Lot et Garonne region in the South of France. I have the pleasure to be a wedding photographer in Dordogne this year, thanks to Siobhan and Gavin.
The House was built in the 16th Century on two hectares of land. It has the most romantic-looking courtyard and rustic barn to celebrate till late at night. Le Manoir Du Bout Du Pont can be booked exclusively for your wedding day.

GETTING READY IN LE MANOIR DU BOUT DU PONT
Siobhan and Kevin both stay on-site for the whole week, so it’s much easier to photograph both bride and groom in the morning as they are staying close to each other. I start photographing the bride preparation first. Siobhan stayed in the main house in one of the elegant and what is important for your wedding photos it was a spacious room to give you enough space to capture all morning antics:) There was a lot of laughs, champagne and some teras to.
Then to the groom. Gavin and his gang start morning from … YES jump into the pool! NO doubt the best choice you can make when you stay in such a coll place with own swimming pool when the sun is shining. Le Manoir Du Bout Du Pont offers separate accommodation for groom and groomsman on the morning, it’s just beside the main house.

CEREMONY AT THE PIGEONNIER
This is one of the most unique features you can find on the grounds of Le Manoir, Dated back to the 16 century is one of the finest in France. Also, it’s an amazing backdrop for your photographs especially in the evening, when the sun perfectly lights it.
The ceremony was held outdoor just beside The Pigeonnier. As you can see from the above photo the setup is just to die for. At this stage, I have to mention “The Celebrant” this time it was Siobhan brother and it was the best choice they can do. If you ever thought about it and you have some friend or family member who can run it in a funny personal way -DO IT.
