BALLYMAGARVEY VILLAGE WEDDING

THE BALLYMAGARVEY VILLAGE WEDDING VENUE:

Ballymagarvey Village Wedding is a stunning private estate located in the Boyne his, Valley, Co. Meath. Steeped in history and set within acres of beautiful countryside, a does-it-all private wedding venue - a newly renovated country house with on-site accommodation for 80 guests, separate reception rooms, cosy bar and banquet hall in the converted millers' cottages.

Ballymagarvey Village Wedding offers a beautiful setting for your celebration. The former flax mill has been lovingly restored, unveiling charming spaces for both intimate and larger wedding celebrations. The understated, distinctive character makes the estate feel like your very own home from home. We loved: The feeling of privacy with perks - the staff come in and cook breakfast the next morning for everyone!

ACCOMMODATION: There are 40 bedrooms, with nine luxurious en suite rooms in the Manor House and an additional 31 bedrooms located in the courtyard. From €89pp.

PERSONAL TOUCHES :

A wedding is a couple's one opportunity to tell the story of their romance and I have some advice on making a venue your own. Themes, personal cocktails and dress codes tie everything together. But more importantly, guests love to know more about a couple. Weddings are all about love-so personalise everything with the story of you, those you love, those you've lost and even your parents on the same day, years before.

PLANNING MISTAKE :

Keeping things casual and didn't hire a stylist for your New Year's Eve celebration? Could be a mistake! Hire pro stylists like Blu Blossom Creative or Pairs and Peaches to transform the space into a cosy, candlelit wonderland on that dark December evening that could blow you away and make the whole thing feel so much more special. Not only did it look pretty, but she also set the space up in a way that made much more sense and was comfier for everyone.

INVEST MORE IN...

A videographer. A friend give you some lovely GoPro footage, but in hindsight, you would have loved to have captured more. There are so many wonderful wedding videographers working in Ireland right now. You can find some of them here.

PICTURE THIS

Wedding photographer, you need to find a photographer you trust. Share your vision on how you want to narrate your wedding day to see if it's a good fit for you. They must also have the experience to document and capture the unique and unrepeatable moments. Check the experience they have. Look for reviews online, a good way to check it is their google reviews as they are written by real couples. All of this can lead to a smoother run of your photography and a whole day celebration. Sometimes is better to let the photographer decide on the location and style, this is why you hire a professional.

Being asked to capture wedding moments is always a privilege. Photographing a wedding at the Ballymagarvey Village Co. Meath is always a true joy. The location is beautiful by any measure, and the grounds of the property are just spectacular. it was the perfect choice to fit Brenda & Phil laid back manners. Fantastic couple, Thanks again guys to trust me and choosing me. It means much more for me than a thousand "awards" when other wedding photographers ask you to shoot their wedding. really appreciate.

From Couples: Hi Darek. We got a chance to sit down and go through all the photos and we are thrilled. Thank you so much again. We love them all! You have outdone yourself Darek!!! Thank you so much.  Love the quality of photographs you have taken on the day.
