Wedding Ceremony in Smock Alley Theatre Dublin

This one is from a very unique place in our beloved Dublin – Smock Alley Theatre. Building itself is located in the city centre and serve as a performance venue, but you can have a wedding there also. I have been there before and remember you can hire this venue for dinner also. Niamh and Declan decided on having a humanist ceremony. They really liked the history behind Smock Alley Theatre and it’s a beautiful building. Couples initially wanted to have a wedding abroad but after a trip to Spain to look at venues, they figured it was too much hassle. So instead went the complete other direction and thought a wedding in town would be fun. After seeing both Smock Alley Theatre and House on One Fab Day they popped into town for a look and booked them straight away.

There is a lot of beautiful celebrations I have a chance to photographing recently to share with you. I will be blogging another amazing Dublin City wedding soon. Dinner was served in House Dublin restaurant, with different areas your able to eat outside in the garden/glasshouse in the summer. This time the wedding looks a bit different than traditional, it was the ceremony and short drink reception ad than all guest move into the city, to one of the oldest pubs for part two. It was great specially in a great warm day. Perfect to sit outside John Kehoe 9 and enjoying good company and a few pints of Guinness. I have a great company of George B.Griffin as videographer and heck yeah, he even organises great ice cream from Murphys. Thanks for this man:) Where was dinner served? There is a lot of small intimate restaurant venues around Dublin. I have the privilege to be a wedding photographer and photograph most of them. One of those hidden gems is House Dublin, and this is where we all moved to celebrate the rest of the night. So here are some photographs from Niamh and Declan day.
